I Have Who Has Game Subtracting One
♦ I have…Who has… is a great way for kindergartners and first graders to practice subtracting just one. ♦
This game is a set of cards that is two sets in one for easy differentiation!. The first set of 11 cards subtracts one from each number from 1-10. Use these in small groups or for partners. The second set of 21 cards adds one to each number from 0-20.
As students practice subtraction while playing I have…Who has…, they also practice listening skills and waiting their turn. 🙂
The game is usually played in whole group. My students also like to deal the cards out to a friend(s) and play the game several times. They play independently, too, by timing themselves and trying to beat their previous time. So much fun and great practice!
✄ Teacher Note: The lines around the cards are wide so you can overlay them to cut several at a time and still stay “in the lines”. This makes set-up even faster and saves you valuable teacher-time! 🙂
♥Just print, laminate, cut, and use year after year!
