Description
Saint Patrick’s Day Math Sorts – Subitizing and Math Facts – Informal Number Assessment
Spring activities and numeracy fun! Practice, differentiate, and assess! Perfect for Spring Numeracy Benchmarks and informal number assessment!!!
🍀Just print, laminate, cut apart, and use year after year!
✂️ Teacher Note: The cards have wide lines around them, so you can overlay them to cut several at a time and still stay “in the lines”. This makes set-up even faster and saves you valuable teacher-time! 🙂
This set of Saint Patrick’s Day activity mats and cards is great for informal number assessment and stations. Use them to evaluate students’ abilities to structure numbers or have students practice number work. There is one set of picture cards with pictures in regular subitizing patterns, one set with irregular patterns, and a set of number cards.
The set of mats for beginning addition will allow differentiation for those students who need to count objects to be able to join sets, as well as for those students who can use bare numbers to add. Students will find two ways to make each number from five to ten for these mats. Perfect for informal number assessment!
Easy prep! Just print and cut the cards apart. For the addition mats, mix all the cards and let students “seek their level,” selecting the picture cards or number cards as they feel comfortable.
