This Valentine multiplication facts bingo (MATH-O) game is perfect to play with your Internet learners as well as your face to face learners! It is super fun and engaging. Your kids will make you promise to play it again – soon! 🙂
They will be gaining multiplication fact fluency without even realizing they are working and not just playing!
Brilliant for a fun Valentine’s Party! No printing or prep needed! Created in Google Slides™. With just a click, students move a cute heart emoji to their answer on their MATH-O board!
But first, they must do the work. 🤓 There is a multiplication worksheet included for students to complete before they play the game.
A Just Print version is also included! To cover the bingo squares, you can use counters, the included printable heart emoji squares that your students cut out themselves, or conversation candy hearts! Whatever you decide to use, your students will love it and ask to play again.
First, students find solutions to the 25 problems given on a worksheet. A “caller” calls out the solution to each problem as students find it and move an emoji to cover it on their digital bingo board. The first player to have 5 emojis in a row in any direction wins.
Having students complete the multiplication worksheet first, assures that everyone knows the answers on their bingo board and that you don’t have to “put the spotlight” on a student who may be slower to find the answer to the problem called.
